The SEE CLEAR Building Restoration Project.
Built in the late 19th century, our new SEE CLEAR space is in Phase II of our Building Restoration Project. Our historic building boasts over 6,000 square feet of massive potential. It features two separate storefronts, with the 2nd and 3rd floors earmarked for our business accelerator, community programming, and leased office space. Our rear outdoor green space is perfect for hosting intimate private parties, and community gatherings, with indoor space rentals for shows, exhibits, and events.
Placemaking is our aim – with a goal to transform the building into a central destination for community happenings; a place for innovation, learning, co-working via our business accelerator, and stimulating job creation. Our building will house Urban Java, Café & Gallery for our Youth Barista Initiative.
Our new space will also give youth and adult entrepreneurs a platform to develop, and sell their products, and be a catalyst to attract new community investment from other local groups.

CEO Initiative
The CEO Initiative is a classroom-oriented Community Entrepreneurial Outreach that offers a series of entrepreneurial boot camps. Participants interested in starting their own business will study intensively the foundational skills associated with business start-ups, management, the entrepreneurial mindset, sales, marketing, customer service, strategic planning, fiscal accountability, and more. It’s coming soon, stay tuned, and don’t miss your seat at the table!
Youth Barista Initiative - Urban Java Café & Gallery
SEE CLEAR will collaborate in partnership with Urban Java Café & Gallery (to be located inside our newly restored building in the City of McKeesport). Local youth will obtain paid on the job training, barista certification, and learn various career building skills including customer service, sales, marketing, management, event planning, and more.
Youth Multi-media Arts & Technology Programs
Offered on-site in our new building, SEE CLEAR will provide cutting edge multi-media arts and technology programs in photography, video, editing, GigaPan, 3-D printing, video gaming, animation, screen printing, and more. SEE CLEAR is equipped to provide these creative services with youth in (elementary – high school), including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These highly interactive programs offer an exploration in creativity and self-expression, along with some business facets of entrepreneurship to fuel the creative economy.

Business Accelerator Co-Working Space
Local start-ups and selected individuals who successfully complete the CEO Initiative and engage in SEE CLEAR’s 1:1 Entrepreneurial Coaching are eligible to apply for SEE CLEAR’s business accelerator on-site in our newly restored building located in the City of McKeesport.
